Porkbun Reimagined
Concept Study || Chapter 1 Excerpt: Branding Mini || Industry: Technology & Domain Services

All branding mini packages include:
- Primary Logo — The main visual that people will associate with your brand.
- Submark — Simplified version of your primary logo designed for small spaces like social media profile pictures or stickers.
- Mini Color Palette — A carefully-selected group of cohesive colors with specific codes (HEX, RGB, CMYK) to represent your brand across digital and print.
- Brand Pattern — One pattern that reflects your brand, sometimes including icons or your primary logo. Brand patterns are often used for website backgrounds, slide decks, gift wrapping tissue paper, or social media.
- Typography — One to two fonts that align with your brand vibe allowing you to bring your brand to life, even in written communication.
To fully bring the Porkbun concept to life for the 2026 Creative Competition, I expanded my branding mini package to include high-value add-ons: two custom hand-drawn mascots and a secondary logo.
Key traits: Playful, minimalist, retro
I reimagined the Porkbun mascot, the Porkbun pig, in my submission to the Porkbun 2026 Creative Competition. While my submission was not selected as the winner, I enjoyed crafting two variations of this quirky, retro-inspired mascot. In addition to two hand-drawn mascots, I also created a primary logo and secondary logo using Porkbun’s established color palette. I wanted to submit something “punny” so I settled on pairing Porkbun’s industry (technology and domains) with a royalty theme, a play on words using the word “domain.”
